Apache Offline?

    Is it possible to still run apache even if there's no internet connection?

    ive run it before with a computer on a LAN with no internet

    for example SuSE linux comes by default with appache installed - for offline use.
    hence of course you can run apache for any offline tests prior to using it on www servers. example usage to have you offline apache would be to run a complete offline test version of a entire site, blog, CMS, mysql, PHP or other stuff.
    just configure your local apache as you do for your server - using your localhost-name/IP
