Apache needs preview settings to answer requests from other machines on the same net?

Would be needed some special initial Apache (version 2) settings for answering requests from others computers on the network (not local)?

I just installed the Apache Vertrigo (also tried with WAMP) and in both cases it responds normally when I open the browser (IE) via the local server.
When I try to access via any other computer, the browser keep "searching" and does not see the Apache (either via IP or via DNS, nothing).

What can I do? I reinstalled already, edited alias, etc.. But I know that the "out of the server" has no answer even to the Apache root (/) without alias.
If you do the same access via local computer it works.

    Thanks in advance from Brazil!
