Can anyone tell me how to go about raising the maxclients on apache?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

First...why do you want to raise it? Is it significantly too low or are you planing to do it for optimizing reasons?

you have to find you httpd.conf

    find / |grep httpd.conf

then change the settings in there

    look for your httpd.conf file

change your maxclients number few steps higher, because full going to large as it can do more damage then good. if your hitting you maxclients limit make a small change but this will also increase your server load as your letting more clients in
