apache 403 forbidden

    hey, i have set my document root to /home/ so all users can get http access to their folders. But now if i go to http://localhost/nicky i get 403 forbidden You don't have permission to access /nicky/ on this server.

    What must i do to fix this?

    if I understand your root doc right
    then your site should be

    /home/nicky/
    and NOT
    /nicky/
