Hi, I bought a new Forum Script but I cannot install it on my GoDaddy web hosting because my script has two Requirements for installing, listed below: 1- Web server with PHP 5-support 2- Apache 2 with PHP 5.2.x-module recommended My question is, if you know any web hosting that support those two things? Regards, ameran
I am starting to use lovinghosting.com for my hosting. You have to edit the .htaccess file to enable PHP5, but it works great. Plus they have low rates!
Hi! I would suggest getting a new host by either doing a search with a search engine..or go to a web hosting board (like webhostingtalk) and do a search for those...and find deals. I would never recommend hostgator..they have a horrible reputation for overselling...as do many other very large hosts. Do the work..email..call..try the chat..find someone you can trust. Bryon
I just downgraded my Apache 2 to Apache 1.3 Because apache2.x will fail if the total domains is more than 400. Here is the email received by me from the cPanel tech
Thank you very much for your message. I was just one step before I install my website on a server with Apache 2. Thanks, ameran
Sounds like the bug is with OpenSSL, not Apache. They're up to version "g" now. The bug affects "a". It probably would have been easier to just get a newer version of OpenSSL. GoDaddy now offers PHP 5 http://help.godaddy.com/article.php?article_id=1083&topic_id=419 I'm not sure which version of Apache they use. Netcraft just lists "Apache"
