    Hello all,

I'd like some feedback on my first AOM site. I am not allowed to post a live link yet, as I am new member but the url is as follows...

    dubdubdub dot japanesestylecooking dot com

Please note: many of the recipes are still to be uploaded and there is the occasional bit of dummy content scattered about. Other than that it is pretty much finished.

    looking forward to the feedback.

    Many thanks,
    John

    Thanks for the reply.

I am not sure what you mean regarding IE7. Are you referring to the pop-up for IE6 visitors? In my experience anyone that is still using IE6 is unlikely to ever go to Firefox, and getting them to use IE7 is a small win.

Regarding the testing of the site using Firefox. I built it entirely using Firefox. It renders correctly for me, which resolution are you using? and do you have javascript disabled?

nice looking site ;) it looks fine on FF for me.
i think you should change the "Add to Cart" button image. It didn't fit well with your entire site design.

Thanks for the suggestion regarding the add to cart image - I'll start looking into better alternatives

    sorry for the late reply

yes, i am referring about the pop-up in IE6. I would not use such pop-up on a e-commerce site. I's a bit annoying if I go to a shop and want to buy something

I use FF 2.0 ATM and you can see what is the result in the attached file. There are no products seen on the page

I am at my day job and we use sun computers here, I can not see most of your site either. I could tell, there has been some fancy customization applied to your store. The site overall looks very nice. If you paid someone to make such a nice site for you they should have tested in more than one browser.

The facts are most people will be using internet explorer, so it may not make a difference to your bottom line, that the site is tailored to internet explorer.

    Many thanks for the reply.

The reason is almost certainly due to some custom javascript. The site is my creation. It was a testing design, and I have moved on from it now. So, no further comments required.

    Many thanks.
