AOL Problems?

    Hi.

    My next door neighbour is having problems with her ISP, I'm about to go round and have a look in the next hour, what problems should I look for?

    She said the connection goes half way then stops, won't fully connect to the ISP.

    Reainstalling software / drivers? I'll do first?

    Power cycle the modem and flush the DNS [ipconfig /flushdns], that usually fixes any connection problems I have here. But then again, I'm not using AOL :p

    All fixed now.

    I told them they need to change ISP's :)
