Hey all.. I have a gaming site getting about 100 clicks a day, the problem with this is that while i shouldn't complain about $10+ a day, The thing that is annoying me is what is being shown on my gaming site. -how dumb are you -server rentals (linux web-hosting servers) -how good a kisser are you -radio station ads (amateur radio stations no one has ever heard of) It really shitting me now, the content being displayed is very irrelevant to the content on my site, a low paying niche i agree but 100 clicks a day im sure i should be getting more than $10 a day, ive had clicks from DP revshare earning $3.00. I have an account with adbrite and a few others but i trust google just a little bit more lol, so cut along story short is there anyway of adjusting the adverts show on my site ? my site is doing about 6-7k daily now and growing so i dont want to lose out, and find out 3 months down the track that i could of made a lot more. I dont want to be greedy as im making sales also, but 100+ clicks for 2 weeks in a row and its only made $140.. i know people are making lots more thats all. imagine you had a real estate site and google displayed barbie doll ads on there Thanks in advance for any advice given as this really is annoying me now
There is a way to filter out ads from a specific seller. Not sure about targeting specific ads in a certain market though.
Like astevn816 says, you can make sure certain ads don't show up using your competitive ad filter, but you do have to add each URL individually. There is no way to filter by keyword or topic. https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=18619&topic=154 The only way I know of to "target" your ads is to indicate what text the Adsense bot is using to determine the keywords relevant for your site by section targetting.
