I have a keyword in mind.. and i am thinking about paying someone money to get me to the top 10 of google. I want to know if there is any way to predict the ammount of traffic that i would get if my site was in the top 10 for this keyword. anyone have advice?
Think of the keywords that you want to target if visitors would search for that keywords and would be interested on your site.
What is the different of page rank and ranking position in the Search Engine? Is it the same? >>confuse :0
Depends on the niche. I have top 10 listings that bring in as little as 100 visitors a day. And TRAFFIC matters less than CONVERSION. A 100 visitors means nothing, but 100 sales puts a big smile on my face!
Internetmarketing brings up a good point in that there are two items that require your attention. The first of which is number of visitors which is what you're asking. The second is conversion rate. After all tons of unique visitors a day doesn't mean a lot if you can't get them to buy into your revenue generating item (adsense, sales, whatever).
Use those keyword tools like overture, wordtracker, etc, to find out how many searches per day for your keywords, and then you can have an idea how many traffics you will get if you rank in the first page.
