Anyway to contact local members?

    I would like to know if there is anyway to send pm's to just local members, I would like to a group together in the Seattle area and would like to pm anyone in the area?. can this be done?.

    maybe using the search function and search "Seattle"?
    don't know if that will work, but if it does, then you'll be
    able to spam them, then you'll get banned and that really would stink.

    there is nothing like that available here. perhaps starting a thread seeking
    out members from that geographical area is the way to go.

    unsolicited PM's are frowned upon here.

    Why do you want to contact members in Seattle area?

    If you are going to provide any specific service/product then create a thread for your product/service and ask the opinions about your product .... you can also mention that it is available only to members in Seattle if needed.

    or create a group somewhere like yahoo group or google groups and request people to join your group.

    Okay, let's try this again. I am not looking to spam anyone so lets move on from that topic and let met try to explain again. If you look at dnforum.com they have a section for local group and I would like to start a local group in the Seattle area and would like to know if there is a better way to do this then to just make a general post and hope someone local actually finds the post.
