ANYWAY I can upload tons of files at once? or a folder and all its contents????

Is there any possible way I can upload a folder into cpanel or lots of files at once instead of the usual 12 at a time?????

 

zip them up, upload it using cpanel uploader to the desired directory, click it from file explorer and hit extract...done!

 

Why not use FTP?

 

Cause uploading lots of files through FTP is slower, tedious sometimes and certain uploads may fail or often be partially done.

With zip, its easy... A folder on your PC with 500 files gets into 1 zip with smaller size, just upload and hit extract...so simple and less chances of incomplete uploads.

 

You can also upload the ziped file via ftp, then use SSH to go to the directory and unzip it. Just make sure you're the right user when you unzip it. For example, don't be root or you might not be able to update files from ftp cause you won't have the right permission since it would then be a root file.
