Anything new regarding placement?

    One of my sites popped up in the top 3-5 spot for about 3 years, regardless of PR. In the beginning, I had no PR, then PR2, then PR3 and earlier in the year back down to PR2. But my positioning remained unchanged over the years, until now... it went from being 3-5 spot to the 30's range. What could've happened?

    Dont know much about optimisation for products.
    I did notice however that products have jumped above me that offer google checkout and have google feedback stars.
    Have been thinking about google checkout for a while but it would cost quite a lot to upgrade the software I have.

    its hard to say, i think that the algorithm that google uses for PageRank is constantly changing.

    I have a similar question, how to get your products higher, Google Base is a big thing now and it's only getting more important as Google Checkout becomes popular.

    Does anyone have ANY tips regarding the product search, or more importantly, the shopping results that come up on Google?
