Anything i should know before seling my articles?

I joined DP a couple of weeks ago because i was interesting in finding some work as an article writer, so i could get some extra "gas" money. I found a small "part-time" job at gossipgamers, after replying to a message posted here. They paid me, and I'm still working with them, but they don't provide me with too much interesting materials very often, so i decided to write some articles on my own, since i have some more spare time. Since I'm not that new to article writing i was thinking of registering a domain and getting a host in order to set up a website where to post different articles, and sell some of them there. Thing is, how do i sell them? And i don't mean how as in "to whom, or where, you get my point" but in which manner! Making some article packs, like 10 articles based on a niche, and putting them up for sale or selling them individually? And if i sell a pack, let's say "How to sell articles", to mr. John Doe, i can't leave it out for sale so that Mrs. Ana Antler could buy them right? What i am trying to say is that, even tough i have experience in writing articles for different blogs and communities, i lack "methods" and i would like to get some tips from those more experienced then me.

And if you don't get an advance, make sure your payment details are stated very cleary in your agreement. Always use written and signed agreements before starting to write.

    dont worry About it :
-You want to make money by writing Articles, simply you just follow what i did ini start of newbie time,
Try to get the work by convincing the buyers about your abilities in writing OK
and try to build you itraders as well as your clients which give you huge tasks
    - secondly try to give free articles to the senior content writers they will review your work and post comment about it , in this you can easily catch the attention of article buyer in content creation section
    - the third thing you do is to follow the forum rules never ever bump, try to PM the buyer for clarification, i got infractions on posting in thread :D :D that why i am bit consious lolz
    - Fourth thing is be honest, dont scam plz respect other and get respect
    - 5th ad important thing is you have to be honest the buyer who assigned you the task , you have to keep the content betwen you and buyer , never try to sell the same content to different buyers :D :D
Correct me if i havent understood your QuesTion

    cheers

Creating a website to sell your articles could be helpful. Putting the full text of your articles on that site is a recipe for failure. Once the search engines index those articles, they are practically worthless to a buyer as they are purchasing duplicate content.

I've seen some sites selling pre-made content have a freebie section to give folks samples that they can use freely and then offer a topic list of other available articles. I've seen where a writer takes the first paragraph of a piece, makes it an image file and then offers the full article for sale - the buyer "sees" some of the article and the search engines can't index it.

If you can make your own websites, you might also want to consider creating mini-content sites and offering them up for sale. Write on the right topics and you might be able to garner a better return on your investment of time and effort.

I think you have a great opportunity to continue here because a site might side-track you from your biggest goal which is writing articles. Also, you will have to spend lots of time promoting the site and less writing and earning.

It can't be under-stated the power of having 1 or many URL's of content you have published available to provide to a prospective client for your writing samples. I would focus the blog on topics that interest you vice one's you want to sell to have a portfolio built up. If I was hiring someone to do content with no website to show me of prior work, I'm instantly thinking of going to someone else for larger paying jobs that can show a track record. Just some thoughts. Cheers, James

A good thing that always works is to get 5 references first, then contact the references
