I recently purchased the rss media grabber script, i installed the script in a test directory on my site, and found out i had to let the writers of the script know what domain i installed it on by use of there site as i could only use it on one domain at a time (not something that was told to me before i purchased the script). I did so, however when i pasted the url into the domain box at there site, it got cutoff. Afterwards i find out i cant change the domain that they allow me to use the script on(once again not something told to me before i purchased the script)From there i went to there service center, and asked for them to allow me to change the domain, i was ignored. The next step i took was to file a claim at paypal, it was denied as it does not meet the aspects needed to make a claim (something about it being a script vs an object). What can i do now? have i lost my money? Am i in the wrong?
Threaten them with bad publicity -like this one. I did that before and it worked. I complained about not receiving ownership of a domain I bought from Network Solutions on a complaints website. Until then it had been months of failure in getting my money back but after putting up this complaint, I received a refund very soon. Go to complaints.com
