Hey does anyone know of any other ecommerce software like oscommerce? I am just looking for good alternatives. Thanks.

Zen cart also. I have not very much worked with others.

Zen cart is good but not complete. Alot of addon module, but one that is missing is a good SEO module for SE friendly url's. Last I heard of.

It is a combination of personal preference and also requirements - if your stores basic premise is around giving customers discounts based on the volume purchased and only one off the shelf system does this/ you cannot afford bespoke then that is the one you are going to go for.

If you dont have too many products, and would prefer site design over functionality hands down i would prefer virtuemart.com joomla based ecommerce. i have been using oscommerce and it is tough to design but great functionally
