I think i'd rather go to the sun.. I mean think of all the milliseconds of fun i could have.. before my skin melts off of course. But that is all part of the adventure. As long as I could sell it on eBay after I get back then I'm game. I'll say it was Elves' skin.

The experiment may be to test the psychological reaction about humans taking a trip to Mars but the one thing that the experimenters can't recreate is the thrill of being the first people to go to Mars. That should have a big psychological boost to the real astronauts that get to go. The people who are in the experiment don't get that boost. It sounds like they don't even get paid!
