Do you still have your 50 invites?

Google keeps reseting mine when I do give away one...

Yes....I stay on 50 however many I give away, I can't believe people out there still don't have it. Personaly I don't think much of it anyway, can't see what all the fuss is about.

Right no biggie, except they have the coolest UI and allow things like POP3 access for free.

I like Gmail, the SPAM filter seems to work pretty well too. No complaints!

In my blog I'm posting on the GMail Thunderbird combo to fight spam.

So many cool things you can do with both GMail but especially Thunderbird. I'm sure it will work out as a killer system. Then I'll install it in the office as well (where we get spam every hour).

About the invites and the launch... I think my prediction might well be correct that they'll never 'launch' it. This invitation system gives them the benefit of monitoring social networks with the added bonus of spread load at the same time. Now everyone gets 50 invites as standard, there's no need for a 'launch'.

I agree, the 'invite' concept was a pretty clever marketing idea. Look how many messageboard posts they've had just through people requesting invites.

Give it some time, if you joined recently they may take some time to appear, also try sending out the ones that you have.
