That's just not how it works... sorry. And that's especially true in most science niches, where people look for writers with genuine experience in the niche (even beyond writing itself).

If you just want a few low-paying gigs to write articles for a few bucks, you can do that right in the buy/sell/trade area of this forum, and probably have a few gigs lined up within a few hours to a few days. But if you do that, do it with the understanding that most writers who start that low end up staying that low. You'll have to take so many gigs to earn anything even remotely attractive, that you won't have the time to better yourself or market your work more effectively to higher paying markets. If making decent money writing were as easy as you put it, everyone would be doing it. Thankfully, everyone's not.

Yeah - if such an opportunity for makin' easy decent money from easy writin' indeed existed, everybody else would be doin' it and the opportunity would end up vanishing into thin air! My experience in the science niche - I have a degree in chemistry, and I tried teaching biochemistry and non-Euclidean mathematics for 3 years, but I guess telecommuting was more lucrative. When I was in Korea, I taught ESL courses while attending IT-related conferences and its impact on the scientific world so as to finance my drinking binges! Hey, I'd go with even $.05 per word, but I can't seem to force myself into taking lower rates than that! Thanks anyway.

Well I daily visit the content creation section to see what is the latest demand out there. I visit that topic before I actually start my routine work of posting on DP for the day.
