Anyone Using TNX? Google Is Not Reading My Backlinks

Discussion in 'Link Development' started by webwork, Jul 23, 2008.

Has anyone had links purchased with TNX have Google read their backlinks? I've had backlinks spread across a handful of sites and none of them are getting read (counted) by Google.

    EDIT:

I just found some links that got read, so it looks like its working.

Mine didn't show up right away either, but now my links in Yahoo have jumped from 550 to 950 recently. Will this jump look suspicious? I guess time will tell. They're not all TNX links, but for that many some of them had to be.

I get the creepy feeling that google will one day figure out how to TNX's plan and everyone involved will get hurt big time.

I think one issue might be that you're buying links (very inexpensively I might add) on low ranked sites which probably are only infrequently indexed.

FYI, I wouldn't necessarily think this is bad... It might tend to hide a massive increase in links if a search engine takes several weeks or even months to find them...

Perhaps this situation calls for something that I wish I had more of... patience...

    Good luck,

That sometimes happens when it is busy, just wait a couple of hours and go back it usually works.

Here is an article which might help for those using TNX: Guide to using TNX successfully

Doesn't work on my site - it said:

Automatically inserted paid links found on the page "Stock Market Analysis at DeepMarket - Think outside the Black Box":

    No paid links detected
Detect paid links for another URL

You have to run it on the site your paid links are found. It detects my TNX links but who knows if google actually discounts these?

It could just be a program that detects links from Receive Links, Link Vault, TNX and other sites then says "TLX doesn't have their links detected, sign up under my referral link!" to promote themselves.

Yeah, but Google shows me with only 5 backlinks, and Yahoo shows me with hundreds.

I doubt Google will ever penalize anyone using service such as TNX or Text LInk Ads. I mean everyone is doing it anyway unless they want to penalize everyone. :p

Maybe not penalize but if those links aren't counted, they are useless.

Any results from using tnx in climbing the google ladder to googles front page? I am thinking about trying it.

Strangley enough some of us still play by the rules and get where we wanna get to on our own backs rather than having to buy our way there :O oh no not another goody goody web master . . . . live with it

Ive run www. studentsatuni. co. uk for about 3 months got pr 4 home page rank with 8 inner page rank 3's and 2 page rank 1ns inner . . . did i buy links? no did i just make quality content? yes did people find it and link to it? meh i dunno but i have high pr rankings from my own two hands not a site that does it all for me. Its like the modern day couch potato of backlinking.

and many of my other sites went up in PR without having to lazy man it.

If google did figure out how to stop it id be one happy guy.

Backlink build the right way and you wont have these sudden jumps and it will be better for SEO.
(as a side note just becuase the sites listed under education doesnt mean it actually is studentsatuni is educational financial money making cooking i could put it in anyone of those catagories even ones i only had a small amount of information on for better $ whilst giving you crap backlink juice)

That picked up my Proxify banner advertisement as a paid link on the proxy list link in my signature

Google doesn't show all of your links, try looking in a webmaster tools account where they tend to show you more.

Yes it works, see the article I posted earlier.

    Goody, goody two shoes :p

Well done, unique content is always key to doing well in the search engines and I would always encourage people to write and work hard on their project first and foremost. However don't be blinded by the 'White Hatters' so to speak.

Not all forms of web sites are easy to write content for, a web proxy is a good example of this (whether you agree with them or not).

Some of the biggest companies that you couldn't even imagine; are buying links on a regular basis to maintain their search engine rankings for top keywords, they don't get penalized like the smaller publishers because they also spend thousands on AdWords ;)

In short, not everything is whiter than white and not everything as black as black.

All of which is just IMHO :)

Mate, you have over 4000 posts and still think that Google detects paid links the way that service does. Shame on you.

Now I can see how some shitty service that identifies any links as paid can ruin the brain of a noob in the link building.

Please do not confuse people with such lame statements that have absolutely no ground under them.

PR is nothing, SERPs is what you really want.

Many of my sites have many pages with high PR too, but they just don't rank well without buying links, so instead of buying links I sell links ...

It is all about backlinks. There is not much to figure out. Companies spend millions of dollars on links.

Get your head out of your ass and read things properly before arguing  If that script can detect the links, so can google (Note that I never said google does and devalues them).

It's no secret that google frowns upon the use of link networks & has also stated that their existing algorithms discount irrelevant paid links.

To find "ground under" these statements, read & search around.

Some good links to get you started:
    http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/how-to-report-paid-links/
    http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66356

Or maybe not, considering the fact that you have a vested interest to endorse TNX-like systems ;)

This script does not detect paid links, it detects links, and yes, so can Google :)

Of course I do, and there is no way I am hiding that.
