Thinking about using PHPMotion for a video site. Would love to hear what you guys think about the script.
Also if you use it where is the best hosting for these type of scripts?

    Thanks heaps

After much blood sweat and tears I managed to get all the dependencies installed server wide on my new dedicated server.

My phpMotion V2 then ran well and although it is not getting a lot of traffic as I have not really promoted it yet as I am waiting for my new theme and powertools, it has however gained a good Alexa Ranking and Search Engine indexing fast.

    My site is here: "http://mymvt.com"

Please signup and look around. I have loads of mods for it and code to improve the quality of the video on conversion however I am also waiting for phpMotion V3 to come out which is amazing although they have been unable to set a release date :-(.

To get my phpMotion to work I eventually needed to upgrade ffmpeg-php to ver0.6. It required ffmpeg, ffmpeg-php, mencoder, flvtool2, Zend, phpShield and as tools for the installation svn and yum. To be safe I also installed ioncube. I will probably put eaccelerator in as well as gzip and deflate in the .htaccess which gives up to a 80% access/download performance boost.

My dedicated server is now fully phpMotion supported and I will be offering hosting accounts shortly via "http://archangelhost.com"

    Have fun

    Regards
    Mark
