Anyone using Orkut for Trafiic?

There is a lot of talk of using FaceBook and MySpace for getting a deluge of traffic to ur website/blog. But is there any1 using Orkut to do the same? Orkut is the most popular social networking site in Brazil and India ... although I have an active ID in Orkut I could not figure out how to use it to attract more traffic...any1 who has done it ... pls enlighten me ..

I don't rely on social bookmarking sites to drive traffic to my site; I am more concerned with targeted search engine traffic...

 

First of all start a community for your website , if people will like your community then they will join it and automatically you will receive a boost up traffic !

 

Yeah, you have to work building your network on this community sites...

 

Is there any other way on these social networking sites to build up back links or anything similar? does anyone do any targeting on them?

i have used orkut for traffic for new launched site, create your own community and also start scrapping and send links with nice description so traffic depends on your user friendly content and in which community you are promoting your site.

but orkut is best way for quick traffic, if your site is new, it's very useful for publicity of site.

I prefer targetted search engine traffic too...but now after being hit by a google penalty...im desperate for other means of traffic...

Orkut ?first time i hear about it.

 

i had used it earlier and found very good results.i almost got over 100 visitors from it .i aimed at my niche communities in orkut .

 

I am not using, I think it is not gives more traffic.
