I find namecheap hosting packages very good and am thinking to buy hosting from them but before I jump in I want to know if anyone else is using their hosting or not? If you are using their hosting please share your experience. Thanks
I tried them for a month and loved it.... Excellent support, SO MUCH BETTER THEN GODADDY!!! I've actually trasnfered all my domains and have over 50 free SSL certificates along with free WhoISGuard on all my domains.
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encrypts sensitive data during online transactions. If you are taking credit card info or other sensitive information your customers will feel safer if you have a SSL certificate.
No no, my site will be very simple. Nothing related to online transactions. I think I should give namecheap hosting a try for one month at least
Namecheap is good but not the best shared host out there.. you should try hostgator for hosting.. they are the best
Namecheap is good for domain registration - hosting, not so much. You would do better to find other hosting imo. Hostgator, bluehost/hostmonster, and if you're looking for a lower monthly cost, asmallorange.
Well i am talking in General - Namecheap is very new in the hosting field compared to hostgator - Every company has thier speciality namecheaps speciality is domains hostgators is hosting Coz i have used godaddy and know what a pain it was i am recommending hostgator.. Offcourse namecheap must be good in its side.. They are a reputed company after all
Of course I've used them. I wouldn't give an opinion something I've never used. namecheap's server load was constantly high and simple html sites had a lot of down time - even after numerous support tickets. I wasn't the only one experiencing this (check webhostingtalk). Their support response time was ok, but not as good as compared to the others I mentioned. For the most part, registrars are good at registering domain names and when they try to offer hosting, it usually isn't as good as a company that specializes in hosting. namecheap is pretty new to hosting, so maybe with time they will improve, but there are many established hosts with proven track records available now.
i have a site on namecheap. It is pretty quick load and will stream a video! Support is very good and im pretty happy. The cost is comparitively higher than you can find, although not compared to hostgator
We have used an ssl from namecheap, very reasonable rates and the customer service was good, we recieved a second copy of our ssl cert despite not paying for the extended service of duplicates they offer... Not bad.
