I was curious... does anyone have multiple sites with different ad programs...

    ie. www.site1.com using google adsense
ie. www.site2.com using yahoo ad program

    etc....

I was wondering are there many other ad programs and do they pay well?
anyone have THAT list of programs in addition to the google and yahoo ones..

    Thanks all

    Wow. Cool.

So Yahoo is a bust in your opinion? Is it dependent on the kind of content or forum you are running?
    Thanks

    YPN = Yahoo Publisher Network

I have seen that YPN ads either pay really high or really low compared to adsense, and they are less targeted, so the only way to know if they are for you is to give them a shot on your site.

I run CPM and CPC networks on my sites, about 3 different CPM networks and Adsense. I manage them all via phpAdsNew, works well.

yes phpAdsNew is a stand alone app, it does require PHP and MySQL though, so you would need a server running php and mysql. Then you can generate remote invocation codes from phpAdsNew. For example, ads.mynetwork.com can point to the server running phpAdsNew and you would just have a snippet of javascript to add to each location on your site where you want to run an ad.

Before we started our own network, we used around4 to 5 different ad netowrks/programs on different sites. We eventually narrowed it down. It's all about what works best and makes you the most. :)

I use to run only adsense and 1 CPM network. I have definitly been getting more out of running several different CPM networks. For example if you have an ip that frequents a site, each network will end up filling an impression if you have your chain/ad server setup right, so in a situation where an excessive impression would get a lower CPM or thrown away, it can be diverted to another network that will fill it with a high CPM ad.

I have used kontera, allfeeds, and adsense.
I would recommend kontera, i find its ads to be targeted very well.
I've had a lot of success lately with Commission junction as well.

I have adsense on some sites and bidvertiser on some other sites. CTR is much better on adsens sites than on Bidvertiser sites.

I have a few ads and run different affiliate programs on them. For example, I have a web hosting directory where I mainly have web hosting affiliate programs on them. Then I also have a gaming site where I have mainly only CPM ads showing up on them.

Doing this is a good idea as you are not putting all your eggs into one basket.

I've noticed that YPN has improved their targeting a lot recently. Might be worth another look for those that quit using it.
