I made a few videos on my bike this summer and when I found http://video.google.com I uploaded some of them, I where quite pleased to see that I'm actually getting visitors on my site referred from there. I understand it isn't applicable for all types of sites, but thought I'd share the tip. Who knows, even a short video with a demonstration of a product might be beneficial. Ps. search for fzr600r if you want to see
I hadn't looked much at it before. Definitely pretty cool. Check out this motorcycle video. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4208199498521404816&q=motorcycle Good Stuff
Yeah saw that one, a friend and I passed 2 dismounted motorcycle cops with 75mph over the limit once, nearly pee'd my leathers. I try to keep my racing on the track now
I put a video up. Completely not related to my site, but its been up for 2 or more months and I think I got a few referals. Probably not a popular video though. Im not a big fan of Google video because I hate sifting through the non playable videos to get to the ones that you can actually play.
I just mean when you go to video.google.com and search for [snowboarding] Only the ones with the triangle (play symbol) are actually able to be viewed. Unless im missing somthing?
Ahh.. I see what you mean, never noticed that before, I pretty much only search for motorcycle videos.
I fiddled a bit more with it, and right you guys are - there are a lot of television clips and such that can't be played. I agree that is pretty annoying. Oh well perhaps then there is all the more reason to make some free videos and surprise the searchers with some that can actually be played
