Hi guys The two companies that uses the Adecn plattform for serving their ads, I'm currently using Freedom of ads and i have notice a sudden drop in their total impressions (Imp. Total). It happen around May the 20th, 21st, 22nd or something like that, i didn't think much of it because i thought it was some kind of glitch at first. My total impression started to fall while the cpm rates sky rocketed. The fill rate also became better. I just need someone to confim if this has happen to them and state the company they use. Let me be clear, these are both good cpm compaines, theres just something about the total impressions that i want to confirm for myself. Thanks SUB
Hello SUB, We have not seen any out of the ordinary changes in reported volume from our publishers since May 20th. AdECN reporting is fairly accurate, perhaps there is a problem with your host. If your server is being overloaded you may be experiencing less pages opened by visitors. Alternatively, perhaps your traffic volume simply decreased for one of many potential reasons. Have you checked your server logs or third party tracking statistics to see if your traffic has been consistent? If everything seams to be in order try emailing FOA support for assistance. I am sure they can troubleshoot the problem with you and find a solution.
Third party stats are reporting correctly. I have contacted the rep for FOA and he assured me everything is working correctly. After checking todays stats, things are coming back to normal. Even though my total impressions fell the rate per cpm jumped really high, actually it was around .25-.29 cents in total of all my adzones. My normal cpm rate would have have been .07 - .13 per cpm Believe it or not, i'm making more money with lower cpm and a higher total impressions than with higher cpm and lower impressions. Not sure what happen during those couple days but everything seems in order once more. Thanks slava.
Are you taking pass-throughs into account? They are not included in the total impressions count. Perhaps your impression/unique ratio went up and thus less of your impressions where being filled by paying ads.
i guess probably thats the cause but i'm not sure. No i don't select pass-throughs, i just select ecpm, ctr ad earnings. Things are looking better as of today also.
