Yes, I got some success with clickbank products on craigslist. Online income generating products works best for me. Especially in this economy condition. Target specific geographies with specific offers, you think convert well. But be safe from flagged. I mean don't do spamming.

Also try to split the products everytime you post at CL.

CL is a bit dangerous from what I know, especially if you use domain redirects or forwarding. I think making money online and dating related stuff work well these days

Craigslist is a great way to promote your products. But you have to pick the proper niche. Dating and making money online are always going to be good niches.

Does craiglist have an api? The idea is: can you do something automatic to promote links in craiglist?

What's also great about CL is all the cities/countries you can promote in.

Depends on the section your posting in, for example if your getting job applications, you could reply with a CV product and say "Read this book and re-write your CV accordingly for improved chances on getting this job", that might work (Idea off the top of my head)

I don't think CL is a great way to promote affiliate products. It's tough not to create spam.

I getting some traffic from Craigslist to my blog, but all of them are targeted I think. Some visitors click my affiliate link also, but still didn't got any sale. Hope to get soon :). Otherwise I have to change the product.
