Anyone Using Clicksor In 2012?

I started using Clicksor in about 2004 and stopped using them a couple of years later because of the following reasons:

    • The majority of their ads hijacked my visitors and forced them to download dodgy programs.
    • Despite turning them off inline ads and pop ups would still be displayed & I would have to ask Support to turn them off from their end.
    • Ads never seemed to match the content of any of my sites.

I've been thinking about giving them another try and I was wondering if anyone was using them these days and if they had improved?

I used to use Clicksor back in the day myself..I stopped using them for pretty much the same reasons you did. As for nowadays, I haven't used them in about a year or so and they were still pretty bad back then. You may be better off with Adsense, YPN, or Pubcenter..

YPN doesn't exist anymore and for several years already, or is it just me who get this info?

Personally after my adsense ban the only other PPC I've tried is Chitika and of course they pay about 7-10 times less for the same ad placement and traffic. But tiny chitika money is still better than 0 adsense money, so for now chitika is still on my sites.

No, I have never been affiliated with Clicksor. 8 years is a long time, maybe they have improved?

As far as i know they still have malware in their ads..Whenever i visit some website which has clicksor ads my antivirus block them..So i would not recommend them.

Thanks! I didn't get the memo that they re-opened.. Are they accepting publishers from all the world or just usa/canada like before?
They have a long boring form to sign up and I couldn't be bothered to fill it in if it's reserved to US/CA only, I didn't see any mention of it in their form.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I too was unaware that YPN had opened up again, last time I tried to sign up with them was back when they were in beta. :)

No answer whatsoever.. Not even an acknowledgement of my form submission, I guess Yahoo/Bing are competing against Google for the worst publisher support award.
Better for me anyway, so I won't be tempted to go back to PPC as a publisher.

Edit: I was wrong about the not being tempted part, I've been told today by a friend that they made it official that they open an adsense competitor with yahoo/bing with media.net don't know if it's true, but I've registered and got an email saying that they'll start sending invitations from 15th october.. I hope they will not be as stupid as yahoo was staying in beta for 3 years before closing and never accepting publishers outside of US/CA..

No, because they require to reach minimum payout within 6 months otherwise publisher will be lost all earned amount.

Not sure if that is a rule they are abiding by. It took me over a year to reach the $50 payout minimum and when I checked my account the other day there was about $10 from about 2005 which hadn't been deleted. :)

i asked this through contacting form.
Admin said. "This is require to reach payout within 6 month.
Please try our sister site if you worried about minimum payout. They have $5 minimum.
    Mention site"
i signup into their sister site and happy to see minimum payout but when i see earnings are very low then i think its not better too
so many clicks and i have 4cents in my account.
I think they are also not count all clicks.
Now very hard to reach payout
