Anyone using Bid Hero already? Care to share first impressions?

Finally found the time to join this superb forum, right now driven by the need to decide whether to invest time and money into trying the new PPC tool launched earlier this week by Lyris (formerly J.L. Halsey Corp).

Bid Hero is part of the recently announced Lyris HQ, which is supposed to join search, Web analytics, content management, landing page optimization, and email marketing solutions in one hosted application.

Lyris says it has incorporated Trellian's KeywordDiscovery and competitive analysis tools among others.
It works with Adwords and YSM right now, and is supposed to add adCenter "within the next few weeks".

The following is a quote from the launch blurb, which you can find via lyris dot com (not mine unfortunately :):

"Bid Hero helps advertisers manage their bids and create, test and buy keywords. With a color-coded data theme, users can see which campaigns are delivering high click-through rates (CTRs) at a glance, and which ads need to be tuned up in terms of keywords, cost controls or other performance factors. A feature called the Problem Campaign Report alerts campaign managers to seven factors that might be causing them to overspend, flags the keywords or creative, and then provides the tools to improve them."

    Any views?

I'm signing up for Lyris HQ on Monday. It's about $300 a month for bid hero, clicktracks, email labs, hot banana, and email adviser all integrated into one suite. Pretty good deal. I confirmed that it integrates clicktracks pro, (which was $9,000 a week ago).

I'll let you know how it works out...and no, I don't work there. :p

Yea, I was allowed to work with the beta of BidHero since I have the pro processor and it is a pretty useful tool. I am not sure how much they are charging but it seemed worthwhile if someone ran extensive ppc campaigns. Puts all the info in one place and helps with suggestions/etc and auto updates everything on google/ysm servers.

I have not had the opportunity to try any of the other services tho..

By the way, I have additional datasets for clicktracks I would be willing to lease to the right people. PM me if you are interested and already have experience w/ clicktracks.

    Regards,
