    I signed up for an invite the first day it was announced and still didn't get one.
    Sorry do I sound bitter? :(

    Of course when I signed up I was honest and said I just wanted to use it, not help develop it. So unless you know someone who got one, I suggest you do what I do and keep whining on forums until someone takes pity and sends you one. :D

    I still don't even get what Google Wave is. There's tons of hype about it, but what is the actual product? After reading that Wikipedia entry twice, what I get from it is that Google Wave is basically just a service that allows you to create a private forum. Not even that special, in my opinion. Does anyone agree? Or am I just looking at this the wrong way? Anyone care to enlighten me as to how this is a major breakthrough?
