We have been a member of Avantlink.com affiliate program for the past few months, and so far, I think it is a lot better than cj - in terms of reporting and getting datafeeds, to be more specific. It shows reports on the products that you actually sell, per advertiser. It is easier to get a datafeed, since you just have to use the tools and you can automatically download the datafeed of a certain merchant. Unlike cj, where you have to either request it from the advertiser, download it from ftp or insert the products one by one.
I have been using Avantlink for more than two years. I love their tools such as dynamic coupon feeds and product feeds. Plus -- anytime I have had an issue they are quick and professional. Avantlink is small, very small compared to CJ, but they have outstanding service and tools. Take a look at one of my sites: http://www.wildrapid.com The 2x4 product grid on the left side is a javascript feed they provide. You can customize the grid size and which products to display. I have selected those that match the keyword "paddle" since it is a rafting site, and those that are on sale. There is also a context sensitive setting so it will choose products based on the page content. Quite honestly, I get the total run-around with CJ. Have you ever tried using their webservices? Have you visited the webservices support forum? THEY NEVER FRIGGIN REPLY!! There are questions that go unanswered and no support. Why should I have to pay CJ $200 for a product feed? All those tools are free from Avantlink.
