You should not need to use fake utility bills and fake govt id. I am sure they require you to use real ones for that.

Ikobo is anything but new. There was a great scandal some years ago and their popularity sinked like a stone. Now it seems that they have a different management team. I would still not use them, because they require a monthly and per transaction fee and there are more advantageous offers out there.

    Regards, George

I was about to use it some years back , but heard bad things about them. Soon after they stopped issuing cards...

I have stayed away from them since then.

A monthly fee would make me stay away from it as well. How much is it?

I used Ikobo years ago.. their support barely spoke English and they continously required more documentation over and over.. I would avoid them if I were you unless you don't mind the consistent red tape and headaches associated with their entire process.

Well, according to http://www.ikobo.com/fees.html , the monthly fees is $0.99/mth and $1.99 per withdrawal. Which isn't a lot. The bulk of the fees are bore by the one sending the payment anways which is $5 + 3%. I guess in the end, getting most of your money back is better than not getting them at all. It is all just the cost of doing business internationally.

I have been using Ikobo till a couple of years ago. No real protection for the merchant against fraudulent chargebacks and also they offers consumers paying with Visa credit cards only. I currently use 2CO effectively.
