anyone used sedo's featured listing?

Just wondering if it is worth shedding out $39 if i have a decent domain that I am selling. Has anyone used it, if so how did it work out in terms of interest, offers and eventual sale price?
    Thanks.

    Couple things about this...

1st, Sedo runs it's site to assist in ppc and selling.
To list the name in the featured section is generlaly for selling the name.
Sedo prefers parking of domains for ppc than for sale, but will do both.

The names for sale... Sedo requires a minimum sale price of $60.
BUT if your really not interested in selling your name, simply set a low price to be displayed and a very high "private" minimum price.
*EXAMPLE*: 123.com for sale $60 (hidden minimum $1,000,000,000).
This will create the listing, low price help draw interest so ppl will veiw it, high minimum, no one will buy it.

Now why would you want the ppl to view it, except to either run up the traffic stats OR ppc.

About Sedo featured listing... one of my names was doing about 600 unique visitors per month. Featured it went up to about 3000.
*NOTE* From the visitors point of veiw they can see certain stats, such as how many visitors to the name, how mnay offers for it. BUT they can vary widely form what the owner sees in the canontrol panel. Hard to know which si really accurate and hoenst, IF EITHER. I ahve heard from ppl that work at or frmely work at Sedo that claim frauds. I personally do not know that exist. But I know I see "clicks" and visit numbers that don't ma APPARENT sense.

Worth $39? That entirely dependent upon how much you feel a SEDO traffic increase is worth.

Their ppc rates is horrible... for me anyways. Example: 8 clicks, paying 7 cents on poker keywords, I find that very odd.

So again I point out, it all depends on your OWN personal value of thinsg SEDO related.

There is better and there is worse, availible.

Of course for my on legal saftey, this is just my opinion, thus Sedo can't sue me for that.
And I do presently have names ay Sedo.

TERRIBLE & USELESS your listing lasts for a day or so MAX!! It's literally a scam! The only siters that get seen are at the top of the list as more people feature poof yours goes down and eventually off the list. Did a few domains lasted 1-2 days tops. Waste of money.. hope this helps

MountainLife is correct its an absolute joke. I purchased the featured listing for a domain and didnt see it appear for two days. I emailed them to ask why and they said it was now present on the homepage. I went back an hour later and it was gone, never appeared again. I emailed them to find out why it only lasted less than an hour and they replied that they can not guarantee the length of time it would appear there.

If you read most of the information on the featured listing it all indicates that the $39 would be for a months advertising when in fact it is less than 24 hours.

I bought a Sedo featured listing once and saw no impact whatsoever. It was a decent name, too, and I was hoping the "extra" visibility would help find some value for it. Nope.

Are your gripes just about $39 Sedo listings, or about their website auction service as well?
