Paidposts has made a few messages here. I wonder if anyone has used its service and can comment on its quality of the postings. One thing I found a bit strange is that the domain seems to register in Peru.

    Paidposts.com whois info:

Seems like a good idea to drive traffic towards a site. Little costly considering you could just talk to friends there and it would fill the forums quickly

    Hello,

Im currently the owner of PaidPosts.com the information you mentioned above is strange this is because someone had hacked into my domainsite, enom and godaddy accounts on the weekend and changed the ownership details of the domains to his, i have contacted the registrars and it seems that they have to go through an ownership process before they can push back to me, hopefully theyll be back in my name over the next few days.
Currently they are at a registry hold so the thief cannot change or push them to another account registrar.

You can read more information here http://http://namepros.com/showthread.php?t=134038&page=1

    Thanks

    Morgan

That link you put up goes to the microsoft site.

I'm a bit hesitant to believe you about getting your godaddy account hacked?
If that is the case it's a huge worry for alot of users.

Do you have any proof? I have not heard anyone else speak of this.

There's a duplicate http:// in the link, that's why it goes to MS's site. Try this: http://namepros.com/showthread.php?t=134038&page=1

Paidposts is getting some good buzz around here, search the forums a bit. I know there's a few people using it.

And Morgan's been talking about the godaddy hack for the past week or so, so he didn't just make it up to explain the Peru thing.

Yes enom recently pushed my domains back and put a 30 day transfer block on them which is good, i have been in contact with godaddy and domainsite it seems i will get my domainsite domains back but im having some trouble with godaddy, i may call them again in a few days just to show im not going to let them slip, there customer service isnt very good i suggest you not use them in the future, to big for there own shoes i think.

wow that is very surprising about godaddy!

There are a lot of these type of services popping up...you can generally find people to post on your forum for as low as $0.5-0.10 per post.

I'm comfortable with godaddy too. Much easier to deal with than any other I've used. They didn't actually get hacked did they?

Ok. How long before there is a webmaster on mars?

oops...swerved off topic again. I'll read the Paidposts threads. Sounds interesting.

I've just signed up with them to help me get http://forum.weirdengland.com up and running so I can concentrate on the site a bit more. The only complaint I have about the service is the lack of a confirmation email when you sign up and pay. I've had my first posts today and so far great :)

Morgan, hope you get your names thing sorted out - sounds like its been a nightmare.

I ordered a silver package for my dating site that has been neglected.

I think sympathy played a factor in my decision. Morgan, maybe it was a great marketing move having your domains stolen! :) Always look for the good stuff...

Your forum hasnt been neglected i live in Australia so usually when orders come in its about 1-6 am here so im usually asleep.

Also with the marketing move im not sure if it was that great seems like alot of hassle to get a few orders but to look at the bright side of things it might have worked.

I think you read that a bit wrong Morgan, Jazzy was saying his forum was neglected by himself, which is why he went and got a package from yourself. :)

wish i was so lucky. I ordered more than a week back. Two emails unanswered. No postings. Today when I send Morgan a private message he did respond saying that

"Okay sorry about the wait in the last few days i have put everything on a hold because of my domain situation i will get to your order ASAP.
    Thank you for your message."

Maybe Morgan should tell us when he is ready to carry orders out.

Im sorry this has occured i have a few problems with my domains and also in some cases usually pretty specific forums we try and find writers with knowledge in that area so the posts are actually ontopic not just one line posts in the general discussion forum.
If you have any more questions please pm me.

    Thanks
