Has anyone used liquidation.com??? I am thinking about buying some computer parts HOWEVER they are listed as salvage... Do you think salvaged computer parts for sale on liquidation.com is reliable? Anyone had any problems with them??

Have you tried alibaba.com for quantities? its not liquidation stock but if you didn't mind the research into importing you can buy direct from manufacturers.

Ive not used them yet, but last year i was spending a lot of time on the site and looking into what is available, its basically full of manufacturers/suppliers in countries like China, Taiwan etc, i still plan to do some business through there in the future.

I want to research more on Importation and everything involved before going ahead, i would recommend doing lots of homework, especially for your Countries tax and duty laws, im not sure if thats the sort of thing your looking to do but if it is then alibaba looks like a decent place to start.

A good way to make money actually as your cutting out the middle man, buying direct, still be careful though what ever you do.

If you use Alibaba, make sure to find a secure way to make a transaction. I've talked to several people that feel into the money wire trap and never saw a single product or refund.

I think the whole thing is risky if you don't have enough information about hacking ....

Ask for photographs of the despatch labels actually on your shipping boxes, ask tons of questions, there are many payment methods, the whole banking system and credit card world in China for example still needs a lot of catching up so they tend to deal with other methods of payment.

Yeah steer clear of Western Union, dont let the dangers put you off but definately ask lots of questions, you can make good money and i guess your first quantity purchase would be the most nervous one but its all part of it i guess.

A quick story, not to put you off, but so you know the kinda tricks people get up to.

A guy somewhere imported a full container of Italian Leather sofas, the container turned up as planned, they opened it up and it was full of sand.
The guy lost 5 grand, as i say, its not to put you off but rather to bring attention to the dangers.
