Guys, Any of you use Youtube for Clickbank? Note I am talking about getting a Youtube video ranked high in Google search via the power of Youtube, and therefore getting SEO traffic. Any reason why this wouldnt work, if I had a catchy title and description and an informative video?
This is old stuff already. Youtube among 100 others are very useful getting visitors to your website. I wouldn't recommend though using Clickbank links directly on Youtube. Multiple youtube accounts can help too. PS: Google or any other search engine can't tell what's inside a video unless you tell them. So, use different keywords title and description for the same video, and post them on your webpage too. This way you get 2 pages and 2 videos to rank high.. etc
Thanks Johnyboy, is there any reason someone wouldnt click on my video though..... Would a Youtube video have more clicks then an Ezinearticle in the same position because it stands out more, or would the Ezinearticles have more clicks on it from the Google SERPS?
That depends on so many factors. Videos nowadays have their own SEO to worry about, which is quite different from articles and for every video websites rankings. Not to mention the market you're in. There are markets that simply won't work with videos. You just can't compare these two just-like-that. You know better what you did in both fields regarding SEO and ranking these. You need to advertise Youtube and Ezine article pages as well in order to get them some popularity. And yes, once these are on first place on Google they will be clicked no mater if is a video or a ezine. People like both videos or stories. With videos you have some advantages. You have fewer SEO to do, can optimize a video for many many keywords and submit them to some other video places without the worry of duplicate content. Not to mention the interaction a video gives you. PS: Look out for what kind of product you want to promote. This is the sole factor that maters when it comes to choosing between video or ezines.
You are right, the product is key...... I suppose keywords can help too... Going after keyword such as 'how to......' Will help a lot....Obviously go after a very commercial term/keyword will never work though. Im good at doing SEO, so will concentrate on videos. Anymore thoughts on this?????
I use youtube and clickbank. I have had a few hundred dollars of sales in the passed 2 months. My technique is, create a good youtube video that will make your customer interested in the product and watermark and put the url link in the description then do seo and pay a website to skyrocket the videos views
I have only to promote a product. It just so happens that there were Youtube videos about my product. So it was like a little commercial for me. Look for videos without the watermark or another person's URL.
I useYoutube to promote Clickbank products all the time. In several cases my Youtube video out ranks Ezinearticles. But yes, I do think it depends on the product.
I would use Youtube too. I just need a couple a days to buy a brand new professional mike. I don't wanna sound like a cowboy yelling at his cows... LOL I bought 2 video programs (Camstasia and Ulead Video Studio Plus). Both are great, with a lot of features. I even got a nice strategy of how I will go about it.
This is where you have to promote the right product and also target the right keywords etc too. I like Ezinearticles, however a Youtube vid will outrank a Ezinearticle article every day of the week if everything else is all equal, e.g. Quality and quantity of links.. And yes you may get a lower CTR on video....Say 1/2 of Ezines, but what is to stop you uploading multiple videos targeting various phrases and getting lots of targeted traffic? Also I do believe if you target terms like 'How to....' etc, then people are in the right mindset to click on your video anyway. Any more thoughts on this? I will definitely be looking to do an experiment and will report back to you guys on my findings.
When you are using youtube it is key to have a good converting product and a good video relating the product to the their needs. One of my videos I had a product that converted, but it was only like 1 or 2 sales every so weeks. Yesterday I switched to a better product that I thought would convert well and I am getting good sales now from it. So Youtube is a great method if used to its potential and the right product is sold.
