That it took a day for a response already says a lot. Most hosting companies will have a reply to you within the hour.

    Hey!

I have a totally different scene.

My websites have been with Yahoo since ages and i have never had a problem.

There has never been a down time.

Also their customer support is awesome!

They even made a script for me once!

    :)

Yahoo's never given me any problems. My sites have stayed up and I've never had to use customer support.

It is a great bargain, but I hear about so many people having problems with it being very restrictive as far as software. I also hear the php does not work very well.

I never tried yahoo. I have good luck with small to medium sized hosts. Any host of decent size will have people that love them and those that hate them. It might depend on your needs or site you are developing, the software or script is uses, and how much help you might need. Some hosts are more knowledgeable or helpful than others when it comes to some scripts.

I have also heard some terrible reviews about Yahoo hosting, even though it may seem like a low price, you need to be careful of hosting with them.
