Hi, for a professional look, pls do not use Tinyurls. There are other ways to work around them. Use Subdomains or even free blogs like Blogger.com. EzineArticles do allow subdomains.
Even if EZA allows (which I doubt), I would say that using services such as Tinyurls just don't cut it. It's just not professional. If you are on budget, you can easily create a blog with services such as Blogger.com, Wordpress.com and build your business from there until such time where you are making enough cash to buy a domain name + hosting. You can easily get started with as little as $7.98 (discounted domain registration at Namecheap.com + $0.01 first month hosting with Hostgator.com). Hope this helps. Richard
Excellent advice that you should follow! What if tinurl go out of business (already happened for similar services). all your efforts would be lost! Plus think about the SEO benefits in the long term!
They will not allow affiliate links. You should redirect from your domain using any redirection method such as .htaccess, php, javascript or meta refresh
i used a tiny url script from someone on DP. i managed 2 sales from it, but then the guy completely changed his site into something different. don't know if it was a ploy for traffic or not. so i guess the tinyurl script on other sites can work. i bet i could have made a few more sales though.
