After 5 years of data entry and 10+ years of programming, I can type my ass off. Carpal Tunnel however, is catching up with me.

Since I write so many articles a day, I was thinking of getting some speech-to-text software. Any of you guys/gals use something like that? My buddy recommended Dragon Naturally Speaking, but I don't know if there's anything better.

Your input is, as always, highly valued. :)

i have had no luck with these types of software. I have an ipad and loaded it up with dragon dictate. It works fairly well but not where I would like it. Now I dictate and my wife types.

There are also services where you can phone in and they will turn it into text on page. This is what alot of lawyers do.

I gave Dragon Naturally speaking a try, but it did not turn out too well. It will require way too much editing, and it can be slower than typing at times.
