Anyone use Site Build It?

For anyone who isn't familiar it's a bunch of web tools and site building stuff rolled in with a hosting plan, at least that's what I gathered.

I watched their promo video and was intrigued. I think I read it costs $300 a year.

Is it worth it? I'm definitely curious to hear from people who have used it.

    Thanks,
    TIm

    Hi Tim,

I have not used SiteSell...but some of my clients have used them.
They are quite happy with them....

One thing i know that it is good for starters!
If you already know the stuff related to IM...maybe it is not for you...

I have used Sitesell. If you're a beginner then it's a great choice.

If you already know how to research profitable keywords save yourself the money and make things easier on yourself by getting XSitePro and Aweber.

Your hosting should come with a stats program and that's basically what Sitesell offers.

Typically these tools are aimed at those that cannot afford a designer/ developer up front as in the long run they are more expensive. It can be good to test the waters but check on copyright ownership and movability as with many you cannot simply move the site to a normal hosting account when you decide that it works

Site Build It (SiteSell) is actually running a promo right now. $100 extra gets you 2 SiteSell packages instead of just 1.

    Cheers,

SiteSell (or SiteBuildIt - SBI) is particularily good for starters. I did have it for a year. There is lots of good information and it teaches you a lot. However, for the price tag, you are limited to one domain name.

Many IMers have more than one web site. If you don't mind the lack of hand-holding, you can learn most of what you need on your own. Spend time reading and learning at forums like this and other IM forums ($ 0). Then get your own web host - preferably one with true multiple domain capability ($10 a month). Then get an easy to use Website builder like XSitePro ($197) which has some great built-in tools for the IMer like SEO and more. Then do it yourself.

    Go get 'em!

XSitePro is the way to go after you learn some basics but you still want a program to guide you through the whole process including SEO.
