Anyone use forum sites to gather and redirect traffic to affliate?

Im just wondering, does anyone here have sucess setting up forums about a niche then having a link on the main forum page back to your website that your selling affliate products on that are related to your niche? This seems like it would work with small niches.

yes its fairly simple, installing the script can be a pain....but the forum once it gets rolling its good. As long as I continue to advertise and make it grow. I have had a forum before, I think having a website is alot more work.

 

but how do you get the users for your forum

 

you link to a bunch of sites related to your content. I know it will not be easy, you have made your point. There are ways though, it depends on what your niche is about. My niche it will be easy to do, but alot of niches it will not.
