Anyone Use Claxon Media?

Does anyone use Claxon Media to publish ads on their site?

I've been waiting for YPN to send me an acceptance and have yet to receive it, but still wanted to diversify and test other networks.

Actually, I ran across their ad here at DP and gave it a look.

They claim they're paying webmasters 85% of gross revenue, and they're paying CPM and not CTR. This appeals to me because my main website is an entertainment site and gets over a million page views a month, but little CTR.

I'm going to run it on a few pages and see what happens, but I was curious if any other site owners are using them?

    Thanks for the feedback.

I've been running Google AdSense since Feb and I've liked the results, but I don't click good CTR. Seeing how Claxon pays based on impressions and I get about 1.5 million page views a month I figured it was worth a try on a few pages to see how it performs.

Of course, it's always nice to get other people's impression too - thanks again for the feedback.

Thanks, but I avoid pop-ups, regardless of the allure of $$igns.

And that spam post has what to do with the question that was asked.

Secondly, why would I use that system when their fees are more than twice that of competing services?

    In a word? Tacky.

I use claxon on some sites but their rates are very low. About $0.09 cpm. You should try to get your site on other networks as Tribal Fusion, casale, and fastclick. They pay better.

claxon is working miracles for me, in 5 days i've earned 15 dollars from them but with adbrite, adengage, adsense, exoclick, blacklabelads, i havent even made a dollar!!!!!! Its perfect for high impression sites, those sites will make a fortune. The only problem is that i dont know how long they take to pay and it doesnt say on there site. But take that with a grain of salt because they are part of the adbrite network of advertisers so they are legit

Nice on bumping a 3 year old thread. I'd personally steer clear from Claxon. Poor pay.

I just signed up for claxon and received $.01 for every 2 impressions. If it keeps up this rate it will be the best cpm network ever!

I used them when they launched, but they quickly went down hill to become one of the lowest paying networks i've ever come across, although they did pay.

As I have not used them in over 2 years, I can't say what the're like now.

its scam. they didn't ever paid me. just 1 year ago this site had gone rogue they and again this site came into existence this year and when i emailed the admin several times he never ever replied or made the payment . also their page views calculation method is rigged .

if people wanna use then use ADBRITE and CLICKSOR both are famous and i received payment from both .

I have heard of Claxon, it would be nice for other advertisers to get some publicity other than YPN and Adsense
