Anyone use business cards to promote your website?

I'm launching a social networking website and wondered if anybody here used business cards to promote their website(s). Not yourself but the website only.

even if you have an information site that is targeted globally, you could print off business cards/flyers and ask shop owners to put them on the counter. I might try this in the next few months.

I wouldn't advise giving business cards to random customers. I save my business cards for other business people or when I'm looking to establish an important link with a player. Otherwise I use flyers/posters or other promotional material.

I must still print some cards, but it should be a good way to get people to your site
