I've had the bing webmaster tools enabled for a while, but hadnt logged in for ages, I logged in today and I'm impressed, a lot has changed, they even have 'seo analysis' tools Does anyone else use bing webmaster tools? How do you think they compare to google's?
I haven't had a chance to really sit down and look at Bing Webmaster tools. Have you found any success with it?
I have been using it a lot. I have two concerns with it. 1. It shows only data for saturdays and not for the whole week - all days 2. If you try to do a keyword research, for some reason it does not work all the days. Not reliable at all.
Yea, I have been using "Bing webmaster tool" for years. Its Diagnostics & Tools are very nice and useful. Keyword Research, Link Explorer and SEO Analyzer of BWT are also my favorites tools. It's Bing who helped to make my blogs cleaner and more Search engine friendly.
No one is perfect. (why only Bing?!) Do you think Google is perfect? Google also have so many limitations (in their tools) that's why the paid tools are overwhelmingly becoming popular.
do you get more traffic from bing than google? or more traffic from google than bing? (i.e. can you use bing webmastertools to do SEO for google engine)
"Diagnostics & Tools are useful" doesn't imply getting more traffic from Bing. Frankly, I must say that, like so many other sites, most of my traffic are brought by Google. But Bing helped me a lot in improving ranking of my sites, as it showed me so many defects and/or room-for-improvement in my sites.
that's very good to know as I may take a look at that momentarily and see how Bing Webmaster tools may possibly help me to improve search engine optimization for my website. Thank you for bringing up this interesting topic.
I may be bit skeptical but when there is Google Webmaster tools who needs Bing tools as the search engine is going to wind up sooner or later.
Google webmaster tools is works for Google's optimize , and Bing webmaster tools works for Bing's optimize dont get you wrong, traffic from Bing has quality conversion, one of my site banned from google but still have a tons of traffic from Bing, and again.. the conversion is pretty good
I started using it once I saw an increase in traffic from Bing, just a few days ago, and the only thing which I can say is that M$ is still a bad copycat. The interface is ok, but the keyword research and overall tools don't give enough information, they are slow and most of the time either I got a "please reload, a problem occurred" or my browser stopped responding. But, as I said, I saw an increase in traffic and I will probably stick to it for a while.
Yes, I have visited Bing webmaster tools. It is quite easy to understand and quite effective. The SEO part is quite great and one can gather huge information.
Interesting. I've been getting annoyed with Google's Keyword Planner (especially since they changed it). I might have to look into this, although I haven't liked Bing much since it came out.
