Then it seems you would vote for C - submit one article to as many sites as possible. Personally, I like scraper sites! Free links baby!
Well actually, I would submit a bunch of articles to a bunch of sites. And scraper site backlinks are crap. They're not helping you.
And the difference between an article submitted to an article directory and an article scrapped and posted on a scrapper site would be what exactly?
There is none. But allow me to retract the previous statement. 1% of scraper links help you. I have no proof of this, but I want to say that thats about how many ever actually attain some page rank. And mosly, PR0 links will only help you get indexed... not rank high.
http://www.seochat.com/c/a/Google-O...ent-Penalties-Problems-with-Googles-Filter/1/ Scrapper sites might show up more in your back links then the article directories that house the exact copy of the article itself as the "scrapped" article may be different enough to not get caught by the search engines.
Thanks everyone for the views and opinions....... i think Not exactly crystal clear but I see the various points of each person who has posted on this thread. It seems it sort of a personal thing and everyone has their own theory on whats most effective when it aims to getting back links from article submission type methods.
Nicely put! Did we side track too much? Do you have a better sense of what you are going to do? Or did we confuse you - it wasn't my intention. Trying to figure out all the knobs and levers that Google/Yahoo/Live use to rank websites is a complex process looking from the outside in - so you will find different opinions from people who have had different experiences.
Yes, they do help. I have submitted to them before with good results. But do them manually and read author guidelines else you may not get published.
