I thought I had Google figured out. I have a lot of blogs and sites and for the past three months, have been running about 500-600 visitors for roughly 5 of my blogs per day. Then Google reindexed- I saw my visitors drop to a mere 20-30 per day. Now, about a month later (and drastic attempts to add MORE fresh and unique content) it looks like Google is putting me back in the top searches for the EXACT SAME KEYWORDS that it suddenly took away from me. What in the world? I was so happy to hit Google Adsense payout on a monthly basis, then I hit this setback, then within a month, it looks like it is working itself out. I have wracked my brain to try and figure out what I should do, and didn't do anything. So what's up with Google? Of course I checked the forums here and saw others lost their ranking/SEP, etc. Does Google do this often? Why am I suddenly getting reindexed? I am totally confused by Google, thank God for Stumbles and Diggs- they managed to pull my sites through while Google played their evil games with me! Any advice, help, thoughts, ideas, are greatly appreciated! I do not want to see this every time Google reindexes- Also...did anyone wonder if maybe Google was trying to save a little money in Adsense? I noticed that a lot of people lost their search engine placement, then heard on the news that Google announced they had made so many billions of dollars..etc...wondered if there could be a connection. They must have saved a lot of money in April- (hmmm...maybe its Google Tax Time! lol) Thanks in advance, Charisse
Google is dancing all the time, they are upadating something these days so there will be ups and downs in SERP
No one can understand, if one get success to understand Google algo, than he may start thinking for own se.
Infosmith be clear what you r trying to say, all above those posted comments really understand Google. I think you might be more understand G rather than those. If some one really understand Google policy, won;t say in Public.
I've been through the same type of thing in the past. I refer to it as a "Google Slap." It probably happens due to Adsense ads on your site (normally lasts 3 months), and someone or something triggering a human review. Once the review passes, you're back in business, and should be fairly steady (traffic wise) from that point on. If you fail a review, you'll probably be sandboxed! I can't be sure that this is what has happened, but it sounds like it. If I'm close, you should see fairly consistent traffic to your sites, from this time on. Note: it's normal to see ups and downs over time.
