Is the jobs feature popular with members? Is it easy to find web design jobs so I can pay off my monthly subscription?
The reason they don't is because people would just come in, hit the forums hard, print/copy a ton of info, and leave without paying anything. Sorry, but the forums are the lifeblood of WA. there are no other forums online that I've visited that can compare to WA's. For example: What other community do you know of where a member will voluntarily go into your adwords account, look at your Failed PPC campaign and show you the neccessary changes to make it profitable Or how about if you were having trouble getting your first website online and A Member voluntarily goes into your account and fixes the problems and gets your website up and running. This is the kind of support that goes on everyday at Wealthy Affiliate Anyone who is serious about making money on the net will not let the $29.95 stand in their way. I don't think I would let a stranger into my AdWords account so he/she can "fix it." Been a member for a week, spent a few days browsing the forums, haven't had more time to look around. Some good info there, but I'm still not sure at this point if I'll keep shelling out to be a member for more than 2 months.
Binary Bits, Just do what I did. Use some of the free marketing methods that they teach to market the wealthy affiliate membership. After you get two people to sign up, you're making as much money as your membership costs. Then you don't have to worry about the cost anymore and you can just focus on going through the material. It's worth staying a member, and it's not that hard to cover your expenses. I started marketing WA, and in a little over two weeks, I had two signups already, so I was covered. I recommend that approach to everyone. The cost doesn't have to be an issue. WantMoMoney
I joined it too. And I can confirm everything vstar already said. Even if you know a lot, there still is a lot to learn. Others are sharing their tricks freely in the forum and there are a few topics which are better then the eBooks you have bought on clicbank. You could price ONE such thread on the forum well over the monthly membership fee. I am known to very well separate the scams from the real products/services. In my online purchases I have only been scammed once or twice. And so I continue now with my latest online purchase of wealthy affiliate. Definitely worth the money + you can unsubscribe any time. There are thousands of members and the owners of wealthy affiliate (Kyle and Carson) are making so much out of our subscriptions your head would spin...but don't let that bother you. The information there is really worth your $30.
I'm a member there and have already made my first sale in less than 2 weeks. I did a ton of research so I kind of had an idea how to make money with internet marketing but what you'll learn on this site is amazing! The forum is what I have found to be the most valuable. I have learnt more in 2 weeks at WA then I did in 2 months on DP. There is no BS in any of the forums, what kind of spammer would pay 29.99 a month? The forums cover everything form web hosting to marketing strategies, they have everything you need to succeed. At WA you WILL make your monthly fee back in the first month if you implement the techniques taught on WA (or second month depending on your skill level). If you are serious about internet marketing then you will, without a doubt, make your money back and them some!! I have personally sent a PM to Carson, the creator, asking him a question and he got back to me in 1 day. I was skeptical that he would actually reply but he did, with really good information. I've been a member at Wealthy Affiliate for over a year, and I'd have to say it's well worth it. If for no other reason than Travis (BumMarketingMethod) is a member there. You can go through each of his almost 2,000 posts and get a fantastic education in affiliate marketing, this from a guy who is making a few thousand dollars a day. Plus there are plenty of other members who are very helpful as well. Vstar being one of them. You can look at Travis videos(www.BumMarketingMethod.com) which talks about success stories, and there are some squidoo sites that do the same, and a website with a bunch of the success stories. www.wealthyaffiliatereviews.net
They are excellent in PPC and adwords. They also have this book "beating adwords" which is 105 pages of pure and REAL adwords knowledge. I have also read the other hot book by another writer (I can't remember his name), the book was titled google money pro 2 I think and is about 150 pages, but beating adwords is WAY better. In google money pro the author keeps a lot of secrets, while in beating adwords book a lot more of such secrets are revealed and you can just count the epiphany moments you experience while you read it. There is a whole lot of information dedicated to PPC in their learning resources and the 8 week action plan. You also have over 1000 posts in the forum and two forums especially dedicated to adwords campaigns and adwords help. Everyone shares information on the forum and that makes it a special place. In normal circumstances I don't like paying subscriptions but this program is really worth it. $30 really ain't that much to try it out. If you don't like it you can always unsubscribe, but you will see, once you join you will stay longer.
It's $14 on the first level, which is almost 50% of your monthly membership fee. And, yes, it IS reoccurring as long as those people remain members. Earn two referrals, and you're essentially breaking even. So, if you can break even and beyond, then it's best to remain a member. Also, if you're earning commissions from referrals, then why quit being a member? Because then you can't earn commissions anymore. Only members can market Wealthy Affiliate.
If you don't make your money back within the first 30 days, or even 60 days, it means you aren't trying.
Don't they basically confess they don't know enough to make money doing the things they teach you? Because they choose to make money by teaching you, rather than doing the things. Isn't the message clear? You make more money by teaching people 'how to make money' without ever really telling them how you make yours (except, of course, that it is literally 'blindingly' obvious).
Well, if they didn't know how to make money, then they wouldn't be able to teach anybody effectively would they? But since people are being successfully taught to make money, that's all the testimony you will ever need. The rule to measure by is this: Are their students getting results? The answer is: Yes, they are. Now that's not to say that you won't find people that join up, read the forums, think about it, dream about it, and never do anything. It's not a magic bullet. If you apply their techniques you will get results. If you don't get results, then you can ask for help and get the help you need.
Even if Kyle & Carson (wealthy affiliate founders) would not know how to make money online, that still doesn't mean its not worth joining. At the website you have this forum with thousands of topics. Some of these topics are worth 2 times your membership price. The thing at WA is that most are sharing A LOT of information freely. So what you get is a forum with thousands of affiliates like no other. AND you can make friends with some of them that you like. With joined forces its easier to succeed.
Almost 6 months now since i've joined and I've learnt so much.. and am still learning more. I also have free membership too, since more than 2 people have joined under my affiliate link. Commissions from them have in turn paid for my monthly fee (plus some more which goes straight into my paypal account) If you're still thinking about whether to join or not, just do it - sign up and try it for a month. If you don't like it.. you can always get a refund. But i'm sure that just the vast amount of properly organized no Bull$hit information in the forums will be enough for you to want to stay! And there's much more to Wealthy Affiliates than just the forums.. I'm sorry if I'm sounding like a salesperson, but I myself am really thankful for being a member there, and just want to help those of you out there who may be struggling in this field of internet marketing, or for those of you who have some idea of what they're doing but want to improve on your techniques in order to bring you more profits! As others have mentioned, it is pretty easy to get your membership for free. You can promote anything you want. One tip from the forum recently helped me get a few sales.
