Have any of you tried viglink to auto affiliate links on your site/forums? How did it work out? Was it worth it? Anyone know what percentage they take? It looks pretty solid, they say they have over 1000 sites whose links they will affiliate and that they won't touch your links if you already have your own referred in them Edit: also, are there any other services that do the same sort of thing? Or any that auto-link keywords to affiliate links as well?
I've been using their competitor drivingreveue.com for over a year on my forums and make some pretty substantial revenue. On average it's slightly more than what I make with adsense (+10-15%) They affiliatize links from every (english speaking) affiliate network from the the US, UK and Austrailia, over 6k affiliate programs. I was temped to apply to Viglink when they appeared on Techcrunch in January, but they seemed very amaturish, everything on their site was about testing and beta, I didn't want to risk my revenue. So I decided to stay with Driving Revenue which has been around since mid 2008. Also, once I found out that Viglink did not have the eBay affiliate program or Share A Sale, there was no way I was going to switch, considering those two programs account for more than 50% of my revenue. Just my 2 cents.
Hi Yeldarb and DynamiteSlim! I work for Skimlinks, another tool similar to VigLink and DrivingRevenue to autoaffiliate content sites, and just wanted to let you know about our services as well. This has become a big space and can be very confusing, but we are always happy to answer questions. We retain 25% of the revenue, as does VigLink, we do not affiliate links in your content that are already affiliated, and we work with over 22 affiliate networks and 8500 merchants. You can find out more about Skimlinks on our website. If you want to see if Skimlinks can work for your site, feel free to send me a link to your website or contact support@skimlinks.com. Thank you!†-Jenny www.skimlinks.com
Any news about this guys? Does anyone use http://www.viglink.com for so far? If so, what are your experiences?
It's always a good idea to find out where your links are being promoted, last thing you want is a ban or a suspension from a network
