Anyone tried to sell with PTC?

Anyone tried to sell clickbank products with PTC? Anything sold? What kind of product?

I've seen some big ptc sites linking to some clickbank products I think but is it only big ptc sites that can sell?

I need something to promote so I experiment with different products right now but will probably end with adult paid per lead sites.

PTC is not a great source of traffic... why? Because these people are looking to earn money, not spend it. Plus, it's about as untargeted as you can get. Imagine if it were you doing the clicking... you're clicking through dozens of sites about yeast infections, golf swings, WoW guides, satellite TV, get your ex back... as far as you're concerned it's all junk as a paid clicker.

Affiliate marketing is about capturing niche traffic and making targeted recommendations to solve a particular problem that your traffic is having. The best product you could recommend to PTC is "How To Ditch PTC And Make REAL Money Online" (not a real product, but that's what they really want).

Does that mean that you tried to sell some crappy product with PTC sites or are you just random bashing without any experience?

I would probably buy something if I saw something that was worth my money. The tv in computer sounds nice but I know it's all fake and the quallity is crappy of that product. Get your ex back can work at some big sites because the big sites are earning from adult sites = clickers are interested ;) I don't play golf so I can't answer that question, I belive more in the WoW guide because almost everyone play that game.

The point I was trying to make was that PTC traffic is not the same as organic traffic. A paid clicker is not in a buying mood. They're not suffering from a life ruining problem and desperately trying to solve it (OK, so they MIGHT be, but that's not their motive for clicking through thousands of ads which means they're not actively looking to buy something).

Someone who's typed a specific search into a search engine like "wow leveling guide" is looking to buy a leveling guide. You can capture and capitalize on that traffic and the mental state of the prospect. You know that traffic from that source has a purpose, a target, and a desire.

You can't say the same about PTC traffic. You might buy something if it catches your eye, but as an advertiser I've got to a) stand out from 1000 other ads, b) hope that what I'm offering is something that interests you, c) THEN I've got to persuade you to buy. With targeted organic traffic, most of that is already done for me - all I've got to do is persuade you that my product is better than the rest, which is a totally different ballgame.

That's all I meant. Conversion rates are all about product quality and traffic quality. That's why PPC is so effective - because you can produce extremely targeted traffic, and cut out the rest.
