I think it is better to learn and do at the earlier stages. Once you know how it works you can outsource it at much cheaper rates. I have successfully ranked my sites to top 3 with just 100-120$ that remained on top for months and made me a lot of revenue. Mostly for low and medium level competition.

If you hire a professional, he works only for your website (in company), if you outsource it, then it depends on the money you are paying to them (hours, days)....

there are many professions out there to work for lower rates.., but you need to choose the right one who can give u the best!...

Hire a professional is better option for website promotion in search engine and number of daily visitor at website is depends on website real weight and number webpage with search engine ranking.

But if you need more visitors then hire an expert that is compatible with all the search engine optimization steps.

todion is right because when we professionally promote a website we fully focused on it. Otherwise we never interrupt or just do our work and 4get about result.

I used a plugin that is supposed to be professional called vBSEO, and it didn't do much, but to be honest, that may have been my fault.

Never hire a professional to do SEO for you, he will just ruin everything :D Heyy, just kidding.

Felines are superior, the first thing you need to understand is that SEO is not a one-time thing. You can't just hire someone to SEO your site for one month and expect your blog to remain popular forever. SEO needs to be done on a regular basis.

But the question is to hire someone or to do SEO by yourself, as far as I understand.. Well, it all depends on your budget. If you are no big brand, you can order individual SEO services on fiverr or look through deals at SEO forums. But you have to have a general SEO strategy for that.

And, unless you have a big budget, you won't be able to afford to hire an SEO company most likely.

Another option is to get yourself a free onpage optimization tool and a free back link checker, and to SEO your site all by yourself, but it is quite time-consuming, though.

Tricky subject.. I hired a "professional" a few months ago to work on one of my sites and he ended up building tons of exact match anchors to my site which worked well pre-penguin but when the bird came along.. BAM! .. instant slap! ....so my advice is learn, learn as much as you can by yourself; and once you have the basics down go an find someone who knows a bit more and put their knowledge to the test on a "test" site before you point anything to your main sites.

You can starts by reading a comprehensive guide to SEO. There are tons of them available on the Internet. Just google "seo book" or something similar.
Then you can earch for free on page software and a free backlink checker, because without these 2 SEO tools, it will be hard for you to do SEO. Just google it, you'll find many different tools. I use Website Auditor for on page, it's paid software, but it has a free version, too. Actually, most SEO tools have a trial or a free version, so, you can just play with as many of as you can, depending on how much time you have.
