    Hello all :)

I just purchased a text link on a site on text-link-ads.com and I'm looking for some feedback from anyone who has advertised with them. Can anyone rate there sites, as far as quality of traffic, etc.?? Looks like a pretty good way to advertise!

    Let me know. Thanks!

Any and all feedback is appreciated!!!

From a publisher's point of view it's great - easy money for very little effort. They also pay very favourably compared to some alternatives. Not so good from your point of view as an advertiser - it means you're paying over the odds for your links. If you're only buying a few links you might find it advantageous to contact webmasters directly, thereby cutting out the TLA middleman and saving yourself 50% of the price you're paying now. Another advantage of doing that is you'll get 'conventional' (for want of a better word) links instead of those which are Javascript or feed delivered - they have no SEO value. It's not all doom and gloom - TLA links can be great for traffic.

My friend uses it and they are great. You get all the SEO benefits that you don't get with other advertisers. However, like CountryBoy said, you'll save some money by buying links directly.

Thanks to both of you!! I'll definitely try to go the route of contacting webmasters directly to save some money.

I buy Tex Links all the time.

You just got to try and buy Tex Links for websites that you think relate to what you are promoting so you can Targeted potential customers as best as you can.

TLA is a great thing, if you search well you'll find good offers for decent money, and you are protected from any kind of forgery from the side of webmasters, if you work directly with them. So, I wouldn't say you are overpaying with TLA. Besides links you get security. My experience tells me cheap things can't be that good. So, enjoy!
Disappointment from bad quality lasts longer than joy from low price.

Thanks for the input! I agree that while it may cost a little more, it's much more assuring to go through a text link processor to keep from getting cheated. My link just got added so we'll see how it goes!

TLA is used more for SEO efforts than for raw traffic. I have had great success with them for several of my sites. I also have tracking implemented in my links with them so I can see the level of traffic and it's not too bad however like I said TLA is more for SEO so your traffic benefits will come from the search engines more than from the direct link!

From a publisher stand point, they are very easy to use. They seem to have a very effective system of putting links up. It does a take a few months to get buyers of links depending on your industry.

Most folks use the TLAs for SEO and a bit of increased traffic.
